Bradford motorists may face delays on the M606 this week as overnight roadworks get underway.

The latest expected works list - with notes from National Highways - shows two closures are set to impact travel in the coming days.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that it is only expected to cause slight traffic delays.

Here's what we know about the latest planned road closures on the M606.

M606 roadwork closures in the coming week

Junction 26 to junction 3 on the M606 northbound and southbound will be closed from 8pm on Tuesday, August 23 to 6am on Wednesday, August 24.

This is due to lane closures for general cleaning and maintenance.

Junction 26 to junction 3 on the M606 northbound and southbound will be closed once again from 8pm on Thursday, August 25 to 6am on Friday, August 26.

It will lead to slight delays under 10 minutes.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads.

It comes directly after the agency closed several junctions on the M606 for previous roadworks.
