WEST Yorkshire Police are opening police officer recruitment as they congratulate students on their A-level results.
A force spokesman said: "Have you just picked up your A-level results and wondering what is next?
"You could apply to be a police officer through our Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship route and study for a degree without having to pay the tuition fees. Alternatively, you could take the Direct Entry Detective route."

The Direct Entry Detective Constable Initial Police Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP+) is available for people who want to be a Detective Constable. This has a starting salary of £24,780.
The Police Constable Degree Apprenticeships (PCDA) for people who do not have a degree. This has a starting salary of £21,654.
Successful candidates will commence their training after September 1.
The recruitment campaign is part of the Uplift scheme to increase officer numbers nationally by 20,000.
West Yorkshire Police has recruited 624 officers through Uplift with 228 more needed. Applications will close on August 31.
Chief Inspector John Toothill of West Yorkshire Police said: “Congratulations to all those who are receiving A-Level results today, if you are unsure what to do next becoming a police officer is an exciting opportunity.”
