A LARGE armed police presence is in attendance on a main Bradford road.
Armed response units, an ambulance responder, police vans and a helicopter are currently at the scene on Ryan Street, off Manchester Road, next to Newby Primary School.
Crowds of young people can be seen on top of the Manchester Road bridge.
A Police dog unit has also been brought to the scene.
One onlooker said: “This is a fractious scene, with lots of youths hanging about.
"It looks as though the road has been blocked off by a police van.
"An ambulance Incident Response unit is also now at the scene."
West Yorkshire Police has been contacted for further information.
