A POLICE scene is in place on a town centre road following reports of a man being seriously injured.
Emergency services attended the incident on Aireworth Street, Keighley, at around 3pm.
The man was taken to hospital for further treatment and enquiries are ongoing by Bradford district CID
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 3.01pm today (Monday), police received a report of a man who had been found seriously injured on Aireworth Street, Keighley.
"Emergency services attended and located the man, who was taken to hospital for further treatment.
"A scene is currently in place and enquiries into the incident are ongoing by Bradford District CID.
"Anyone who witnessed it is asked to contact the team on 101, or by using the LiveChat on the West Yorkshire Police website.
"The log reference is 1112 of 15 August.
"Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or online."
Traffic alerts said: "A629 South Street both ways closed due to traffic problem between Beck Street and Marley Street."
