A MAN was arrested trying to evade police in an incident at a block of flats on Sticker Lane in Bradford this morning.
The flats were cordoned off as a number of emergency service personnel, including the police and ambulance service, dealt with the incident on Sticker Lane
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers carried out arrest enquiries at a property in Sticker Lane, Bradford, this morning.
"A male climbed onto the roof of the building to evade officers.
"The male was brought to safety shortly before 10.45am and has been detained.
When the Telegraph & Argus arrived at the scene, a man was being taken away by police and officers were taking the cordon down.
A local resident said police had been at the scene since 6am today.
