A MAN has been fined for driving at 90mph in a 50mph section of a major Bradford district road.
Amar Hussain, 27, of Cliffe Street, Keighley, faced one charge of exceeding a 50mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order – manned equipment.
He was clocked driving a motor vehicle at 90mph in a 50mph speed limit zone of Sir Fred Hoyle Way/Bingley Bypass. This offence took place on June 29, 2021.
Hussain was handed six driving licence points, fined £375 and ordered to pay £110 costs and a £35 victim surcharge for the offence. A collection order was made by the court at the sentencing hearing.
Hussain pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 10, 2022.
