MORE tributes have flooded in for a much-loved man who tragically died after crashing while paragliding in Bradford.
Window cleaner Shawn Crossfield, known as Eddie, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene in Tong on Tuesday (August 9).
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were scrambled to Tong Lane at around 7pm.
West Yorkshire Police said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Crossfield’s death and a file has been prepared for the coroner.
The 54-year-old was well known on the Shirley Estate in Gomersal and scores of people have left tributes in a book of condolence set up by the Telegraph & Argus.
His daughter, Karla, wrote: “R.I.P dad you have left a big hole in all our hearts we all love you until we meet again love Karla, Charlie and Emily xx.”
Diane Cooper said she’d known Shawn for around 30 years and she described him as a “loveable caring natured man”.
She also described him as a “good grafter” and added: “It’s a shock to know he won't be with us anymore my heart is sunk we won't never see you again out of our windows but will see you in our thoughts and good memories RIP best friend.”
