ANDY’s Man Club will be running at Odsal Stadium from next month.
The movement, which began in Halifax back in 2016, now runs in locations up and down the country and its Bradford South group will be one of the latest additions.
The aim of Andy’s Man Club is to smash the stigma around mental health and create a space where men can be open about their struggles.
It was set up by former rugby league player Luke Ambler, whose brother-in-law Andrew Roberts took his own life in early 2016. He was just 23 years old.
His family had no inkling he was suffering and so looked into the deeper issue of male suicide and men’s mental health.
At the heart of the movement is the message ‘it’s okay to talk’.
The sessions at Odsal Stadium will begin on September 12 and more information can be found by search Andy’s Man Club Bradford on Facebook.
