A TEENAGER was caught with a knuckle duster in Leeds Bradford Airport.
Eryk Trojonowski, 18, of Coates Street, West Bowling, appeared before Leeds Magistrates’ Court to be sentenced.
He was charged with the possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
According to court documents, Trojonowski had a knuckle duster while at Leeds Bradford Airport on June 23 this year.
He was made the subject of a community order, the requirements of which must be complied with by August 10, 2023.
Trojonowski was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid within the next 12 months as part of the order.
He was ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a surcharge of £114 to fund victim services.
The court was to apply for benefit deductions to recover the £199.
An order was made to deprive Trojonowski of the knuckle duster.
