A POPULAR event in Bradford’s calendar will return in October for the first time since 2019.
Listers Lantern Parade used to take place every Autumn in Lister Park, Manningham.
But like many annual events in the District the Covid Pandemic led to the parade – which attracts thousands to the park, being cancelled.
It has now been announced that after three years the free parade will return on Friday October 28 at 6pm.

The event features a variety of different large lanterns created by Bradford based art group Cecil Green Arts.
In the run up to the event there are usually workshops where people can make smaller lanterns for the parade.
More details of this year’s event will be revealed in the coming weeks.
