A MAN has died after crashing while paragliding in Bradford.
The incident, which led to an air ambulance being called out, occurred on Tong Lane at around 7pm on Tuesday night.
The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
The British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association will now lead the investigation into the death.
A spokesperson from Yorkshire Ambulance service told the Telegraph & Argus that they received a report that a paraglider had fallen from the sky at 7.03pm.
A police spokesperson added: "At 7.31pm yesterday (Tuesday), police received a request from the ambulance service to assist with an incident involving a paramotor which had crashed in Tong Lane, Bradford.
"The male was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
"Enquiries at the scene suggested there were no suspicious circumstances and a file has been prepared for the Coroner.
"The British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association will be leading the investigation into the matter."
