JET2.com and Jet2holidays have brought forward the start of their summer 2023 season to both Dalaman and Izmir in Turkey.
The expansion means that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will start flying to Dalaman from March 17 next year, on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast.
The companies are also bringing forward the start of flights to Izmir for summer ‘23, with flights now operating from April 15.
The extended season to Dalaman comes into effect from six UK bases, with multiple weekly flights now commencing from the following dates - Birmingham (March 17), Bristol (March 17), Glasgow (April 2), Leeds Bradford (March 20), Manchester and London Stansted (both March 17).
Flights and holidays to Izmir will start earlier in the season from the following three bases too – Birmingham (April 18), Manchester (April 15) and London Stansted (April 17).
Izmir is at the top end of Turkey’s Turquoise Coast and really delivers on beaches and bars, meaning that seaside fun is on the cards in resorts such as Kusadasi and Ozdere.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Dalaman and Izmir are both enormously popular with customers and independent travel agents, and there is huge demand for both destinations and not just during the peak summer season.”
