POLICE have issued an update regarding a sexual assault report which was made in Bradford city centre.
The incident, which was reported by a female, took place during the early hours of Friday morning on Bank Street.
Yesterday a police cordon was in place outside Waterstones at the Wool Exchange with an officer guarding the scene.
At midday on Saturday, police confirmed to the Telegraph & Argus that no arrests had yet been made.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses in relation to the incident.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Farrell, of Bradford District Police, said: “We are continuing to appeal for witnesses in relation to a report of a sexual assault on a female in Bradford City Centre, which was said to have happened in the Bank Street area in the early hours of yesterday (Friday).
“Anyone with information which may assist this investigation is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101, or online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat
