IF YOU go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise...
Summertime is picnic time, and for youngsters, there's a good chance that some of them will include their teddy bears.
Teddy bears' picnics are often held at community events in parks and other public places, and are lots of fun. Some of those gathered may also sing 'The Teddy Bears' Picnic', a song consisting of a melody by American composer John Walter Bratton, written in 1907, with lyrics added by Irish songwriter Jimmy Kennedy in 1932. It remains popular to this day.
