HAVE you been annoyed that your bin has not been taken this week?
Well, Bradford Council has explained why this may have been the case.
Vehicles which deal with recycling and waste have been breaking down in recent days.
On the morning of Wednesday, August 3, a spokesperson from the Council advised residents to leave their bins outside so they could emptied "as soon as possible".
They said: "Due to some vehicle breakdowns within our Recycling & Waste service, some bins may not be emptied.
"Please leave your bins out and we will come to empty them as soon as possible."
The Council said it is the rural type routes, which require the smaller wagons, that have mainly been affected by the breakdowns.
