A MAN has been jailed for assaulting two officers at a Bradford police station.
Tomasz Henryk Krystyna Sic, 43, of Ings Close, South Kirkby, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, faced two charges of assault by beating of an emergency worker, which he was found guilty of.
He was jailed for a total of 12 months for the two offences. Both offences happened at Trafalgar House police station, Nelson Street, on February 16, this year.
Court documents state these were "aggravated by the defendant's record of previous offending".
He was also charged with persistently making use of a "public electronic communications network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another".
That offence, which Sic pleaded guilty to, was committed on July 16 last year.
He was also handed a two-month concurrent sentence.
The court ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £156 and a collection order was made.
Sic was sentenced at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on July 20.
