AN elderly woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Bradford.
The incident happened at the junction of Westfield Lane and Cockshott Lane at around 12.45pm on Sunday.
Police have urged anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was seriously injured in a collision in Bradford.
"It happened at about 12.45pm yesterday (Sunday) at the junction of Westfield Lane and Cockshott Lane in Idle when a VW Polo was in collision with an 83-year-old woman.
"The woman was taken to hospital where she was found to have suffered serious injuries.
"The driver of the vehicle was spoken to by officers.
"Initial enquiries suggest the vehicle was reversing when the collision occurred.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has footage that may assist the investigation is asked to contact the Roads Policing Team on 101 or by using the LiveChat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website."
