A MISCHIEVOUS kitten who took a long-distance trip from her home in Filey to Bradford has been reunited with her family.
Loki – whose name derives from the God of Mischief in Nordic mythology - mysteriously reappeared 85 miles away one week after going missing.
RSPCA inspector Adam Dickinson, who transported Loki to the RSPCA York, Harrogate and District Branch, tracked down her owners using the details on her up-to-date microchip.
Strangely, owner Claire Harrison and her children – 10-year-old Ben and six-year-old George – have no connections with the city.

The Harrisons have bought an airtag collar just in case she goes on another adventure in future.
“We don’t know whether Loki got into someone’s car or not,” Adam said.
“She’s certainly not walked that.
“There was a shaved patch of fur on her side, so I assumed she had been recently neutered, which is when cats are usually microchipped.
“Her story shows the importance of microchipping your cat.
“Finding updated chips can be rare as you often discover they still have the breeders’ names still on them or phone numbers ring out.
“Responsible owners ensure their animals are neutered and microchipped. Loki’s owner did just that.”
