A MAN has been charged following the death of a woman in Baildon.
Charlie Booth, 27, of Albert Road in Saltaire, Shipley has been charged with the murder of Lauren Jade Howe.
A police spokesperson said: "Detectives investigating the death of a woman from Baildon have charged a man with murder.
"Lauren Jade Howe, 26, died in hospital on Sunday morning (July 24) after an incident on Aire Way earlier.
"Charlie Booth, 27, of Tennis Way, has been charged with her murder.
"Booth was remanded into custody to appear at Bradford Magistrates this morning. (July 27)
"The family of Lauren have released a picture of her. They continue to be supported by specially trained officers."
The 27-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder after West Yorkshire Police was notified by Yorkshire Ambulance Service on Sunday morning that they had been called to a concern for safety at Aire Way, Baildon, and were treating an injured woman.
Floral tributes have been left at the scene in Baildon.
A GoFundMe page has also been launched in memory of Ms Howe. This online fundraising page has been set up to help pay for funeral costs.
