THE Lord Mayor of Bradford visited a Bradford care home as it held an event to celebrate local paramedics, nurses, police officers and other key workers.
The day was planned by Howgate House in Idle.
Cakes and refreshments were on offer and the Lord Mayor, Councillor Martin Love, stopped by to meet those who live and work at the home.
Home manager Nicola Murphy said: “We were honoured and delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor for this special event.
“He was extremely kind and spent some time with us; we were able to show him around and introduce him to people living within the home and the Howgate team, and he was a total hit with my colleagues and those living with us here."
