PEOPLE have been warned that entering abandoned buildings could lead to serious injury - or death.
West Yorkshire Police’s Contact Management Centre, which often tweets about the calls it receives, issued a plea for people to think about the dangers of exploring these sites.
We want to remind everyone of the potential dangers of entering abandoned buildings and other places, such as building sites.

The centre’s tweet said: “We want to remind everyone of the potential dangers of entering abandoned buildings and other places, such as building sites.
“Think carefully about the dangers of exploring these sites. It could result in serious injury or death.”
Following recent issues in neighbouring Kirklees, Inspector Graham Dyson, of the Huddersfield Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Some of these abandoned properties really are dangerous and we and partner agencies are very concerned about someone coming to serious harm in them."
He added that those breaking into premises could also be committing criminal offences.
