A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with possession of cannabis and cocaine.
Imran Khan, 30, of Dawnay Road, faced two drug-related charges.
In the first, possession of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis/cannabis resin, he was fined £50, ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs. This offence took place on August 20, 2021 in Bradford.
In the second charge, possession of a controlled drug of class A – cocaine, Khan was fined £75. This offence also took place on August 20, 2021 in Bradford.
Both the small bag of cannabis and the quantity of cocaine were forfeited and destroyed under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Khan pleaded guilty to both offenecs and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on June 30, 2022.
