A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with speeding on a major district road.
Luke Ker, 34, of Titus Street, faced one charge of exceeding 50mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order – manned equipment.
He was clocked driving a motor vehicle at 71mph in a 50mph zone of the Sir Fred Hoyle Way, otherwise known as the Bingley Bypass.
The offence took place on May 2, 2022.
He was handed five driving licence points, also fined £430, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £43 victim surcharge for the charge. A collection order was made by the court during the sentencing hearing.
Ker pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 13, 2022.
