A VOLUNTARY group in Bradford has seen a huge donation by someone who was touched and inspired by the group’s work.
Shaheen Shaikh, has donated £1826.80 to the newly formed Community Bereavement Support Group, which offers aid and guidance to South Asian women who have suffered loss.
Shaheen who works in Wolverhampton faced the loss of two close family within the short space of two months.
She was proud of what the group has been doing and wanted to give something to the group.
Her workplace Restore Digital Ltd, organised a fundraising effort and helped raise nearly £2000 for the group.
A cheque was presented to the group at their Chai Chat event on 25 June.
Shaheen said: “The Journey doesn’t stop here, we would like to continue supporting groups and charities like this.”
