A BRADFORD doctor has been given an honorary degree by his home city university.

Dr Amir Khan, who is a regular contributor to daytime TV shows including Good Morning Britain, has been given an honorary doctorate in health from the University of Bradford.

He picked up his honour at the city’s university today during its graduation ceremony.

Dr Amir tweeted: “Okay so this is exciting, I’ve been awarded an honorary doctorate in health from University of Bradford for services to health education and the work I’ve done with the students!”

The University of Bradford is holding graduation ceremonies throughout this week in its first in-person summer events since before the lockdown.

Around 3,000 graduates from 2020, 2021 and this year and associated guests are in attendance from Monday through to Friday.
