FOUR schools in the Bradford district are experiencing issues today.
Heaton St Barnabas' CofE Primary School will be closed to all pupils today.
A notice on Bradford Council's emergency school closures alert system says: "Due to major roofing works, hot tar and reduced insulation, the temperature within school poses a health and safety risk to pupils and staff."
At Co-op Academy Southfield, there will be a partial closure.
Classes on the second floor of the school will not be open due to the extreme heat.
The alert system says: "Teaching staff have made contact with the parents of the classes affected.
"The school is open to all remaining students. All staff are expected to attend."
Meanwhile, Oxenhope CofE Primary School has been closed today.
The school said: "Unfortunately due to a village-wide power cut, we have made the difficult decision to close the school today.
"The power cut is still ongoing but we hope that full power will be restored and the school will reopen as normal tomorrow.
"We are very sorry for the inconvenience to everyone."
There is also a partial closure of Chellow Heights Special School.
Five classes on the West site, on Bingley Road, Heaton, will be closed due to temperatures in those rooms.
