THE boss of a Bradford food company had a brush with royalty at a Buckingham Palace reception.
Younis Chaudhry, Regal Food Products Group CEO, was invited to Buckingham Palace for a Royal reception to celebrate the company’s overseas success and Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for International Trade win.
The reception held at the palace was hosted by The Prince of Wales, The Princess Royal, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra.

The company’s success has seen overseas sales grow by 77 per cent over the last three years, with an estimated 10 per cent growth year-on-year over the next three years.
Mr Chaudhry said: “It was an honour to be invited to Buckingham Palace where I was given the opportunity to talk to The Prince of Wales about Regal Foods and what export means to us and for the UK.
“With The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise flag now flying high at our head office site in Bradford, it is a great privilege to be representing the UK within international trade.”
Regal Food Products Group, based in Wallis Street, Bradford, manufactures and distributes world food products, mainstream confectionery, and drinks, extending to 380 products which are now exported to more than 40 countries.
