The Shipley Street Arts Festival is back for 2022 – bringing anything from dancing Saxons and dodos to trapeze artists to the town centre.
The free family event will take place from 10.30am to 4pm on July 23, featuring events in Crowgill Park, the Market Square car park and more.
Visitors can watch spectacular street theatre from some of Bradford and the wider world’s best performers and witness Crazy Chefs creating concoctions on the corner.
The streets will also be filled incredible balancing statues, shows and workshops from one of Bradford’s best street dance crews and more.
Activities are also being planned in the Kirkgate Centre, Underground Market and Hive as they celebrate their 40th Birthday.
In the evening Front Room Poetry will continue the festivities with an ‘open mic spoken word chill out session’ on sofas in ASDA car park.
The event has been funded by Shipley Town Council and Bradford Council and produced by Shipley based Q20 Events.
