A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with an assault at a Bradford district supermarket.
Anna-Marie Heffernan, 49, of Rufus Street, Bradford, was given a community order for an assault by beating charge.
She assaulted a man, by beating him, at Asda Superstore, Cemetery Road, Lidget Green, Bradford, on November 16, 2021.
The community order includes a drug rehabilitation requirement.
Heffernan was ordered to pay £95 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service. A collection order was also made by the court.
The community order covered a number of theft from shop charges that Heffernan was re-sentenced for.
She pleaded not guilty at a previous hearing in December 2021, but was found guilty and was sentenced at a hearing at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 12, 2022.
