AGE UK Bradford District has announced SaveCo as its new local charity partner.
The Bradford-based food retailer is part of a family of companies that have grown with the communities they serve.
It is this shared focus on local communities that led it to select Age UK as its independent charity partner to support it in its work.
Age UK operates through six community hubs across Bradford, Keighley and Shipley and focuses on the specific needs of older people in these diverse communities in the district.
Working with older people Age UK Bradford District aims to build packages of support to give them choice, control and connections they need.
By joining forces with SaveCo, Age UK Bradford District hopes to extend its reach and impact across communities and promote its work and activities.
Mark Rounding, CEO at Age UK Bradford District, said: “We are delighted to have connected with SaveCo and are so enthusiastic about this new joint partnership.”
Shiraz Ahmed, CEO of SaveCo, said: By partnering with Age UK Bradford District, we hope to bridge this gap by raising awareness and providing support to our elderly community, allowing them to stay connected and better enjoy what should be the best years of their life.”
