THE CAST of a classic musical which is being performed at the Alhambra Theatre this week brought some added vibrancy to City Park yesterday.
The cast of Singin’ in the Rain posed for photographs in their colourful attire against the backdrop of City Hall.
A smash hit in Chichester, in the West End and most recently Sadler’s Wells, Michael Harrison and Jonathan Church have brought Chichester Festival Theatre and Stage Entertainment’s production of the much-loved favourite to Bradford.
Reuniting the original Chichester production team, Singin’ in the Rain is directed by Jonathan Church, with Olivier Award-nominated choreography by Andrew Wright.
The production is designed by Simon Higlett, with lighting by Tim Mitchell.
Stuart Burt is casting director, while the cast includes Harriet Samuel-Gray, Imogen Brooke, Ben Whitnall, George Lyons, Ashleigh Graham, Heather Scott-Martin, Ryan Gover and Josh Lovell.
The 1952 American romantic comedy is on at the Alhambra until Saturday. Performances started on Monday and have been taking place throughout the week.
A signed performance will take place tomorrow, at 7.30pm, while a captioned performance is on at the same time on Friday.
