A FORMER Bradford Grammar School pupil made his first-class debut for Yorkshire earlier this week.
Batter Will Luxton, 19, made 31 runs off 42 balls in his first appearance for his county against Surrey.
The knock was part of a magnificent first innings score of 521 for the White Roses with opener Adam Lyth (183) and Jonny Tattersall (180) excelling.
Keighley's Luxton featured in the England team who narrowly missed out, by finishing runners-up, on the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup at the start of the year.
Massive congratulations to OB Will Luxton who makes his First class debut @YorkshireCCC today. Everyone at Bradford Grammar are very proud of you.🏴🏏 @BGS_OBs https://t.co/kBtFkwrWcU
