An 81-year-old woman arrested in connection with Somaiya Begum's death has been released on bail.
It comes as detectives revealed they had charged Mohammed Taroos Khan, 52, of Thornbury Road with the 20-year-old's murder.
The man has been remanded into custody to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on Saturday, July 9.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed a body had been found at around 7.35pm on Wednesday near Fitzwilliam Street, in the Broomfields area of the city.
Officers can now officially confirm that the body is that of Ms Begum.
The young woman was last seen at her home on Binnie Street on Saturday, June 25, at 2pm and reported missing 24 hours later.
The significant update from police came nearly two weeks on from the launch of a major 14-day probe into her disappearance.
Despite appeals, there had been no confirmed sightings or contact from her.
The scene of Wednesday’s awful discovery lies within a heavily industrialised area home to businesses including engineering firms, car repair garages and building supply companies.
Police scenes remain in place at an industrial estate on Thornbury Road in Laisterdyke and on Binnie Street, Barkerend, where Somaiya was last seen.
