A BRADFORD eatery famous for its hamburgers has been recognised as the Restaurant of the Year in the North East and is in with a chance to win a national award and £100,000.
Mr T's, on Great Horton Road, won the top prize for the North East in the Uber Eats Restaurant Awards 2022.
A spokesperson for Uber Eats said: "Congratulations to the finalists of the Uber Eats Restaurant Awards 2022, who will now be invited to create their dishes for a panel of specialist judges including Prue Leith and Rachel Ama.
"The overall winner will be announced in August and will receive a £100,000 prize."
Tauseef Malik, owner of Mr T's, said: "I am so proud and grateful to have won this award. It really means so much to me that Mr T's has been named as Yorkshire’s best restaurant and we are now a finalist for the final part of the competition.
"A lot of hard work has gone into building our brand and it has been a labour of love. It is a true honour that we are able to represent Bradford on such a large platform.
"Our flagship store started here and we have been on the most amazing journey.
"I am very excited to present our tasty food to the judges Prue Leith and Rachel Ama. Let’s bring this baby home!"
