A POLICE cordon was put in place tonight after a car overturned near Thackley Corner junction in Bradford.
Police were called to the scene at 7.50pm this evening to reports that a car had been in a collision and overturned on Leeds Road, Thackley.
A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said they were initially notified by police of the crash but then later received a call from officers saying "ambulance assistance wasn't needed".
At around 9pm a cordon was in place at Thackley Corner and the overturned car was on its roof outside the Black Rat pub on Leeds Road.
A recovery vehicle was at the scene and onlookers told the T&A "a car is on its roof".
After the recovery vehicle left the scene, another small car parked outside the Black Rat also appeared to be damaged.
Two police cars were still at the scene at 9.30pm but Leeds Road was opened for traffic in both directions by that time.
