TWO Bradford councillors are urging the safe return of missing woman Somaiya Begum.
A number of police investigations in relation to Ms Begum's disappearance have been carried out last week across Bradford, including Thornbury Road, Laisterdyke, and Binnie Street in Barkerend.
The T&A also understands that nearby Harewood Street in Barkerend was also was one of the locations where inquiries were carried out.
Four arrests have been made by police.
In a joint statement, Cllr Mohammed Shafiq (Lab, Bradford Moor) and Cllr Zafar Iqbal (Lab, Bradford Moor) said: "The disappearance of this young woman is worrying, as each day she is missing is an agony and pain for her loved ones."
The councillors are also appealing to Somaiya if she hears this message to get in touch with the police.
They said: "We are all worried for her safety and want to know she is safe.
"If any community members are aware of Ms Begum’s whereabouts we urge them to make contact with the police.
"Police are pulling all stops out and working hard to locate Somaiya."
