A BRADFORD man has been jailed for six months for being in possession of a sharp object in a public place.
Mohammed Ghos, 40 of Manns Court, Bradford, in the city ward was sentenced to six months in prison on June 23 for having a kitchen knife in his possession at Bradford Interchange Bus Station on May 19, 2022.
This was the third time Ghos had been found in possession of a sharp object for no lawful reason.
An Order was made under Section 143 of the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000 to deprive the defendant of his rights to a kitchen knife.
His guilty plea was taken into consideration when the sentence was imposed and he was also ordered to pay £128 to fund victim services.
