A BRADFORD man has been fined and slapped with points on his licence over “heavily tinted” car windows.
Danish Arshad, 30, of Ransdale Grove, Bradford, was charged with using a motor vehicle/trailer in a condition likely to cause danger of injury.
The case was heard before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 23.
According to court documents, Arshad was caught on Halifax Road, Bradford, in a Volkwagen Golf which had heavily tinted front windows and the vehicle’s use “involved a danger of injury to any person”.
The offence was proved through a Single Justice Procedure.
Arshad was fined £440, ordered to pay a surcharge of £44 to find victim services and costs of £90.
A collection order was made. Arshad’s driving record was also endorsed with three points.
