A MAJOR road was blocked this afternoon following a crash which caused a car to overturn.
The incident occurred on Woodhall Lane, between Rockwood Road and Woodhall Croft, at around midday.
The collision was between two cars and it is believed those involved did not suffer serious injuries.
Two hours after receiving the reports at 12.20pm, police were still at the scene as slow traffic remained in the area.
It is understood that the road was cleared by 3pm.
