Police undertaking a speed watch on the Bradford West beat captured 14 different drivers speeding in a 20mph zone.
PCSO 142 Allatt and PCSO 204 Milner conducted the speed watch on Spencer Road and Farnham Road in the outer city area.
In just 45 minutes, the officers caught several motorists driving over the limit and have since sent out letters.
Warning that speeding can kill, a spokesperson for the Bradford West force said: “The limit on these roads is 20 MPH.
“Please be mindful and respectful of these limits in residential areas they are there to protect you and your families.”
West Yorkshire Police has several responses to those caught speeding.
Depending on the speed at which drivers were travelling, they may be given a warning, an invitation to attend a Speed Awareness Course, an endorsable fixed penalty notice/traffic offence report or a summons for court.
