A 25-YEAR-old man has been jailed for driving on a major Bradford route while banned.
Mason Atherton-Hughes pleaded guilty to being behind the wheel of a vehicle on Leeds Road on October 9 last year, while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence.
He was jailed for 16 weeks in total after appearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on June 20.
Atherton-Hughes, of Borrowdale Crescent, Leeds, was also ordered to pay a £128 surcharge to fund victim services.
Court documents show that magistrates believed the offence was so serious because he was caught driving again shortly after being disqualified twice and due to drug driving.
They also found the distance driven and the use of false plates to be a factor.
He was disqualified for 18 months.
