A YOUNG schoolboy aged only 13 is to appear in court charged with assaulting two police officers.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age, faces two charges of assault by beating an emergency worker.
The offences are alleged to have happened in March this year, in the Holme Wood area of Bradford.
The boy will appear before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 11 to enter a plea to the charges.
It’s not the first time a child of such a young age has appeared before the courts in Bradford for such a serious offence.
In May, another 13-year-old boy was convicted over an incident in September last year, where a firefighter was attacked in Rokeby Gardens, Eccleshill.
