A school in Keighley has been temporarily closed due a burst water main.
Yorkshire Water is dealing with a large, burst water main affecting access to Strong Close Nursery School.
Bradford Council has since issued a emergency school closure alert to parents and the wider school community.
The water company asked the school to close on Friday, June 24, for health and safety reasons.
If the issue can be fixed, the school may reopen this afternoon.
The alert said: "Due to a large, burst water main just outside the school which is affecting access, Yorkshire Water will have to shut off all the water supply.
"Therefore, for health and safety reasons we will need to close the school and if the issue is rectified then may be able to open this afternoon. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
