A family fun day celebrating Refugee Week is taking place in Bradford this weekend.
Infirmary Fields, near Lumb Lane, will be a hive of activity on Saturday (June 25) – from bouncy castle and face painting to Islamic crafts, Henna and much more.
Taking place between 12pm and 4pm, it marks an opportunity to share a meal with refugee families living across the district.
The event has been organised by Bradford Foundation Trust, Arise Refugees, REN, Refugee Week and MyLahore.
Shadim Hussain, Board Member of Bradford Foundation Trust, said: “We really welcome all of our communities coming together for this event.
“We have lots of asylum seeker and refugee families joining us on the day to have fun and meet people from different diverse backgrounds.
“It’s the perfect opportunity for different parts of Bradford’s community to come together. It’s a family day and invitation to all.”
