Police have urged drivers to divert this morning following a crash in the Barkerend part of Bradford.
The incident took place in Byron Street, near Gilpin Street, at 6.48am on Wednesday morning.
It involved a car and bike, West Yorkshire Police confirmed.
The man who was riding the bike has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.

Road closures near Barkerend Road
Road closures are currently in place around the Byron Street junction of Barkerend Road.
The police cordon is expected to remain in place until Wednesday afternoon.
A police spokesperson said: "Motorists are advised to find an alternative route at this time."
The cordon appears to start on Barkerend Road, near the roundabout, and end just after Byron Street junction on Barkerend Road.
The cordon can also be found the bottom of Webster Street.
Traffic is moving slowly along sections of Barkerend Road, according to the latest updates from The AA.
The AA said: "Road closed and slow traffic due to crash on Gilpin Street both ways from Webster Street to B6381 Barkerend Road."
