THREE people remain in hospital, including a critically injured woman and an eight-year-old, following a car crash in West Yorkshire.

At 8:43pm on Saturday, June 18, officers were called to the incident in Manston Lane where a grey Audi Q3 and a grey Nissan Juke had been involved in a collision.

The driver of the Nissan, a 22-year-old woman, was critically injured and remains in hospital.

The driver of the Audi, a 34-year-old man, and the young girl, who was a passenger in the vehicle, both received serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening. They remain in hospital.

The collision occurred a short distance from the roundabout junction with William Parkin Way.

The Nissan was travelling away from the roundabout in the direction of Manston and the Audi was heading in the opposite direction.
