TWO people were rushed to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash at Chain Bar on the M606.
The three-vehicle collision happened at around 11am on Monday.
At one point, queues were over 10 miles long after the M62 Eastbound was forced to close.
Congestion stretched back to just before Junction 23 (Huddersfield).

Both police and ambulance attended the scene.
"Two ambulances were at the scene and two patients were conveyed to hospital", a Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed.
All lanes have since re-opened.
The road was closed within the junction at around 12.20 until around 14.30pm.
