PART of the M62 is closed this lunchtime following a three-vehicle crash.

The collision occurred at Junction 26 of the M606, Chain Bar.
The M62 Eastbound is shut. This has caused queueing traffic of around 11 miles and congestion to just before Junction 23 (Huddersfield).
The road was closed within the junction at around 12.20pm with the diversion via the exit and entry slip roads.

Police were called by the ambulance service at 11.29am.
As of 1pm, police say the recovery of the vehicles was still ongoing.
