A BRADFORD-headquartered firm has launched a £200,000 investment in its ten sales and service centres.
Air and fluid power specialist Thorite, which last year moved into a new purpose-built 44,000 sq ft headquarters in the city, is refurbishing all its regional outlets to make them more customer-focused and efficient, whilst creating a number of new sales roles.
The move is part of its ambitious five-year growth plan for the firm and includes providing a dedicated telesales person at each location for the first time.
Work on the Leeds and Sheffield branches has now been completed, with the next phase of work planned over the coming year at Brierley Hill, Bristol, and North Shields.
Thorite’s managing director, Stephen Wright, said: “The refurbishment project is in line with our plans to achieve £10 million growth over the next five years, and improved customer service is a key part of that.
“Customers visiting our trade counters to buy spares and accessories, or collect products ordered via the click-and-collect service on our new webstore, will benefit from a much more streamlined and efficient purchasing experience, while our on-site telesales team will work to ensure customers in their local region are aware of the 70,000 pneumatic, compressed air, vacuum and liquid handling products we offer.”
