EMMERDALE actor Danny Miller and RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Divina De Campo will join the cast of this year's Alhambra pantomime, the T&A exclusively reveals today.

Danny - the reigning King of the Jungle' after winning ITV's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here last year - will take the title role in Jack and the Beanstalk and will be joined by Drag Race runner-up and musical theatre performer Divina De Campo as Spirit of the Beans.

They will join alongside Alhambra panto legend Billy Pearce, who will play Farmer Billy.

Danny Miller is best-known for playing Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale. During his 13-year stint on the Yorkshire soap, he won three British Soap Awards for Best Actor in 2012, 2013 and 2016.

The Stockport actor won viewers' hearts with his quick wit and cheeky charm on I’m A Celebrity, when the hit show was broadcast from a Welsh castle last autumn, and he was crowned the winner.

Said Danny: “I have loved the story of Jack and the Beanstalk since I was a kid so I’m really excited to bring it to life on the stage. To get the chance alongside Billy and Divina will be bags of fun!"

Divina De Campo, who is from Brighouse, is a popular drag queen and singer best known for appearing on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, coming second. Divina's TV appearances include ITV’s The Voice and a stint as a judge on BBC One’s All Together Now.

Divina has been on tour with Chicago, appearing at the Alhambra in the show last year, and recently finished a run of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Leeds Playhouse. “I’m so excited to be coming back to the Alhambra theatre and Bradford! Many a day spent in the ice rink and the National Science and Media museum on the flying carpet, and of course shopping!" said Divina. "The Alhambra has a very special place in my heart as it’s the theatre I saw most of my firsts at. I'm tickled green to be bringing my beans with me back home.”

Jack and the Beanstalk is produced by the world’s biggest pantomime producer, Crossroads Pantomimes, and will feature effects by theatrical special effects wizards The Twins FX.
